Director, Nike Costing Framework (NCF Standards)

As the NCF Standards Engineering Director (Nike Costing Framework), you will drive the strategic vision for and lead the development of labor and material standards enabling a new driver-based Footwear Product Costing with Nike's key finished goods vendors. Reporting to the head of FW costing, you will partner internally with leadership across manufacturing, Finance, and Product Creation teams to ensure initiatives and work tracks are aligned and support Nike's overall Footwear costing strategy, as well as partnering with external stakeholders on evaluation and implementation of those standards. You'll lead a team of 5, whose primary accountability will be the creation and implementation of costing standards in the space of labor and materials. They will work cross-functionally to ensure costing standards support product creation. This role will require some travel across SE Asia and to Nike WHQ in Beaverton Oregon in the United States. Responsibilities: Strategic oversight for the vision and direction of Engineered Standards Facilitate cross-functional, end-to-end alignment for key processes that enable cost standardization (engineering, manufacturing, modernization, etc...) Drive the integration of costing standards into the E2E product creation processes ultimately supporting Product Costing Requirements: At least 7-10 years of progressive responsibility in costing in consumer goods. Footwear costing experience preferred. Undergraduate in mechanical or Industrial engineering preferred but not required Strong understanding of Industrial Engineering practices and manufacturing methodologies Proven ability to deliver results Demonstrated experience influencing people in a highly matrix and collaborative environment Ability to lead teams, manage complex projects, and balance multiple work-streams Self-directed and comfortable working in ambiguous environments Strong problem solving skills Deep process and operational experience is beneficial Excellent communication skills, including strong written and presentation abilities in English
