WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The ideal candidate for this External Reporting Director position will have an ability to create strong relationships among Global Controlling, Investor Relations, Legal and other stakeholders. Our team is responsible for driving an effective and efficient quarterly and annual SEC reporting process. To achieve common goals, we add value and create positive energy to build and maintain trust with our business partners as we prepare our SEC filings.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
In this role you will play a key role in supporting the team through the quarterly and annual SEC reporting process. You'll capitalize on your deep understanding of SEC reporting rules and U.S. GAAP, demonstrating a passion for perfection, to prepare and deliver external financial statements. This includes leading the implementation of new SEC reporting rules and disclosures required under new FASB standards. You'll also participate in external benchmarking groups on SEC reporting topics. Maintaining appropriate industry expertise and technical knowledge, you'll research and communicate the impacts of new SEC rules to management.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will report to the Senior Director, External Reporting. You'll build and maintain credible and dependable cross-functional relationships, continually making valuable contributions to our team and the teams of our partners within Controlling, Investor Relations, Legal and Finance, among others.

WHAT YOU BRING
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, or related field or combination of relevant education, experience, and training.
  • CPA required.
  • 10+ years total experience in Finance or Accounting with a focus on SEC reporting.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory capacity managing both people and projects.
  • Experience in performing multiple projects and working with varying team members.
  • Experience and understanding of finance and controlling processes.
  • Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to identify issues, seek information and impacts, and problem-solve.
  • Advanced ability to balance multiple and contending priorities and requests.
  • Strong ability to develop high profile, and influential relationships across teams, functions, and layers.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, to effectively present to peers and management.
  • Ability to work independently, with limited required direction and guidance.
