Digital Marketplace Operations Service Director

The Digital Marketplace Operations Service Director is responsible for elevating and sustaining digital supply chain operations and service performance, in partnership with the Nike Direct Business and the European Logistics Centre (ELC), to enable the Nike network with a sharp focus on key cities.
Drive focus on profitability in operational and tactical decision making by balancing service and cost

Based on these responsibilities we are looking for a talented manager who is a strong team player who eagerly seeks opportunities and show passion, vision and an appetite for retail business. This role leads a team of 7 and is a key member of the Nike Digital and Marketplace Operations leadership teams. Ideally the candidate has a strong background in eCommerce / retail supply chain operations and logistics.

Key Accountabilities
• Elevate and sustain digital consumer service performance to agreed targets in partnership with logistics, digital product, operations, technology / engineering with a sharp focus on key cities
• Identify and implement enhancement opportunities within current capabilities to improve performance and consumer experience to drive retention, conversion, NPS and profitability
• Build scalable operations & business processes, leveraging best practice (internal & external) to facilitate double digit growth
• Continue to elevate and enhance the forecast & planning process to secure operational capacity for core business and events such Flash sales
• Drive partnership with the Consumer services, Digital Operations, Launch & Fraud teams to ensure insights are actioned holistically
• Maximize profitability and productivity through Lean digitalized Operations
• Lead, coach and inspire the Digital supply chain team, building digital supply chain functional talent and drive organization excellence

• Bachelor's/Master degree in Economics, Business management or Supply Chain
• 8+ years relevant work experience in Operations/ Supply Chain Management
• 5+years in multinational consumer products environment
• Strong interpersonal & communication skills, ability to influence in a matrix organisation
