Data Enablement and Reporting Analyst

Data driven insights are a competitive advantage for Nike and an essential part of the Service we provide to our Consumers. Creating these insights requires a capability to source, organise and present data into meaningful insights that resonates with the business strategy of many stakeholders. You will be coaxing the business along on a cultural change journey. We are looking to build a team with a balance of skills across metrics and performance management, as well as data and reporting.

What are we looking for in our European Logistics Center is:
Nike needs analysts to support two closely related functions: Data enablement & Reporting and Performance Management. You will contribute one or more of the following core skills to the analyst team:
• ability to engineer data (source it, bring meaning to it and improve its quality)
• proficiency calculating metrics / KPIs for performance management
• supply chain knowledge to drive business process improvement,
• project management skills

You'll succeed through intimate collaboration with Technology and peers across the end-to-end supply chain. You will have a strong Service Mindset, the ability to look End-to-End across the Value Chain and think from the Consumer.

Examples of your responsibilities:
• Ensuring Quality, On-time relevant Data & Reporting is in place to manage Logistics Service Performance
• Building sustainable and scalable data products in partnership with Nike Technology, data scientists and operations
• Developing automatic data driven logistics processes and decision making
• Establish, grow and maintain Data & Reporting related tools, information base and processes.
• Help build the skills of other teams to become key data & reporting experts
• Establish, grow and maintain Service Performance Management related tools, their information base, calculation logic and exception management processes.
• Provide input to analytics solutions to enhance Nike EMEA's Logistic operations via business intelligence, descriptive and predictive analytics


Qualifications

The game plan needs players in the middle; not just technically skilled to serve those around you, but also capable of connecting the bigger picture, and motivating others to change the way they're used to playing.

We are looking for a diverse team with apassionfor Data, Reporting & Performance Management. It would be advantageous for candidates to have as many of the below skills, though not all are expected:

  • A numerical, scientific or computationally based qualification or relevant experience
  • Minimum of 2 years' relevant experience in a commercial environment
  • Experience of transport and distribution. Retail/Digital experience is a plus
  • Experience in a Data and Reporting Organization with a strong focus on Transactional Data
  • Experience in big data environments and data architecture
  • Experience working within agile methodology
  • Preferably knowledge on reporting solutions like Tableau, Qlik, PowerBI etc.
  • Proven aptitude to sift through data, identify critical information, analyze, develop hypothesis and make recommendations to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Strong problem-solving capability to tackle complicated issues
  • Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills, with capacity to interact with all levels in the organization
  • Bias for action, drive for results while demonstrating positive attitude and enthusiasm
