Data Analyst Marketplace Analytics

You'll join a complex game, on a vast field, with many players, all of whom are hungry for information on how to improve, and how to measure their improvement. The game plan needs players in the middle; not just technically skilled to serve those around you, but also capable of connecting the bigger picture, and motivating others to change the way they're used to playing.

As a Marketplace Analytics Data Analyst, you will support our teams by providing a sustainable performance management cycle to ensure effective delivery of reporting, tracking and data analysis. This to drive decision making to maximize revenue, margin and keep the market clean. You will provide NIKE EMEA with tools, best practices and insights to elevate performance. You will contribute to the success of our Demand & Supply Management (DSM) function and drive ongoing process improvements.

You'll succeed through intimate collaboration with peers across DSM & our x-functional analytics teams. You will have a strong Service Mindset, the ability to look End-to-End across the Value Chain and think from the Consumer.



Responsibilities


  • Assist in building and executing innovative and effective solutions to unique or complex Nike challenges and opportunities in support of targeted operational and business priorities and objectives
  • Assist with implementation of new decision support solutions that help the business leverage/operationalize analytical insights
  • Assist in executing large cross functional special projects and other team deliverables
  • Lead development and ongoing management of tools and processes, establishing metrics to monitor plans and communicate critical reports
  • Collaborate with key partners to understand requirements and improve opportunities to drive knowledge into action
  • Aid in drafting / proofing research and delivering presentations and facilitating collaborative work sessions or workshops
  • Create and maintain team documentation as it relates to instruments, internal artifacts, vendors, industry research, etc.
  • Keep current on and champion D&A best practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Marketing or a related field.
  • 2 yearsof experience with an emphasis on business reporting and analytics required
  • Ability to lead and/or work on cross-functional teams and provide project management support
  • Demonstrated experience with data entry, data management and investigating in an information management system or complex database
  • SQL, Tableau, Power BI experience preferred
  • Experience with a statistical package is a plus (such as R, MATLAB, SPSS, SAS, Stata, etc.)
  • Strong attention to detail and process orientation
  • Problem structuring and strategic problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, in a deadline driven environment
  • Ability to work independently, execute large projects and take initiative to explore and solve problems
  • Proficient with Excel
