Credit Analyst

As a North America Customer Finance Credit Analyst, you participate in the credit risk management of Nike's and Converse's portfolio of wholesale partners. A high level of communication, financial analysis, leadership, strategic thinking and influencing skills will be utilized to analyze and evaluate complex financial information in a highly competitive, results oriented business. While possessing a strong sense of urgency, you will use your financial analysis, problem solving, and organization skills to take actions and deliver recommendations that directly impact Nike's bottom line. In addition, effective verbal and written communication skills are utilized to build partnerships with key business stakeholders. A high level of professionalism is critical to network, influence and utilize internal and external resources.

Key Components to the Job Include:

  • Take ownership in managing credit risk for Nike's and Converse's wholesale partners spanning the US and Canada
  • Obtain and analyze necessary customer/industry financial information and synthesize key quantitative and qualitative metrics into tangible recommendations and actions
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key wholesale accounts
  • Leverage financial analysis as well as internal resources and knowledge of wholesale partners to make critical decisions for the release of orders
  • Take leadership role in collaborating with diverse group of individuals, teams, and stakeholders across Nike and Converse
  • Perform other ad-hoc reports/projects as needed


Qualifications
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in financial analysis (MBA a plus) with demonstrated ability to complete detailed quantitative and qualitative analysis
  • Background in lending, finance, and/or accounting with working knowledge of GAAP preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills and effective meeting facilitator
  • Naturally inquisitive and enterprising with the ability to deliver creative solutions
  • Experience working for a Fortune 500/multinational consumer products company is a plus
  • Strong cross team collaboration and influencing skills
  • Knowledge of SAP is a plus
  • Ability to pass a 7-year background check
