Converse Sr. Financial Analyst, Digital

As theSenior Financial Analyst, Digital Converse DTC you will be responsible for applying business acumen and influence skills to drive the Converse Digital business.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with North America Digital Commerce leadership team, and Converse Digital Commerce leaders to drive financial performance and deliver timely and relevant financial analyses
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the key business drivers and metrics and learn to influence planning cycle.
  • Financial Planning and Analysis both short- and long-term in our converse.com business, by establishing and / or driving planning processes with commercial teams to support the needs of larger corporate enterprise.
  • Coordinate and review the impacts of interim financial forecasts against the annual plan
  • Financial modeling, analysis, and research on strategic opportunities.
  • Driving consistency around inventory, revenue and gross margin, ensuring that best practices are in place across the channel for all common processes including budget, forecast, and close
  • Participate in functional discussions and initiatives across departments and provide input into business unit planning. Develop internal and external partnerships that leverage resources and improve business unit responsiveness.
  • Ad hocfinancial analysis support



Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related discipline. MBA in Finance, Economics or a related field is preferred
  • 3-5 years' experience in financial analysis, financial/strategic planning, accounting, and/or budgeting
  • Ability to articulate financial concepts to both finance and non-finance business partners in a clear and concise manner
  • Strong potential for leadership and driving change
  • Passionate about data and details with the ability to create a story that drives insight into action.
  • Experience working within a matrix environment supporting multiple business partners.
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills while being independent and resourceful
  • Experience leading projects and people
  • Strong cross team collaborationand ability to work with different personalities (i.e.,high EQ)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced modelling skills (Excel), strong with PowerPoint and other systems (SAP). SAP and SAP BI desired
  • CPA or CMA certification is preferred
  • Experience working for a Fortune 500/multinational consumer products company or national public accounting firm is a plus
