As part of the AGS Retail Brand team you will drive the Go To Market process for our strategic accounts, developing, executing and measuring retail experiences which connect the Converse brand to our consumers in a meaningful and engaging way. Building the brand, obsessing the consumer journey across different platforms while driving click-throughs and commercial return.

Additionally, we are looking for someone who is an open & creative thinker, with a start-up mindset, able to work both independently and collaboratively with teams and peers to translate consumer needs, wants, attitudes and behaviors into tangible insights that inform functions and territory marketing plans.

RESPONSIBILITIES

BRAND

  • Be the one leader behind seasonal 360* programs from initial pitch through to in-market execution across a variety of channels, and a variety of needs (product launches, brand storytelling, consumer activations & events) for the AGS key strategic accounts and pinnacle doors.
  • Generate engaging retail programming and marketing plans that support regional initiatives and drive product demand, based on the deep understanding of consumer & AGS retail realities with a specific focus on Berlin.
  • Act as the guardian of the Brand: elevate Converse in any retail environment and implement Converse Brand guidelines in retail reality, elevating the Brand and how consumers experience it
  • Drive with digital first, maximizing Converse share of voice in each of the retail partners across their ecom and social platforms.


BUSINESS

  • In partnership with Commercial, identify key accounts' needs and most potential channels where the Brand can play a stronger role.
  • Elevate the Brand in Key Accounts' Must Win Doors/Must Win Channels and drive a smart differentiation across retailers to ensure an integrated approach to the marketplace
  • Manage the retail budget, including monthly invoicing.
  • Lead the creation of brand presentations, internal communications and campaign reports. Track performance of campaigns against set KPI's.
  • Lead relationships with third party agency partners, ensuring Converse works with the best in class, most creative and disruptive partners. Be an expert on writing inspiring yet directive briefs.
  • Optimize processes to ensure programs are executed on strategy, on time and on budget.
  • Track competitive activities and use that as a source of benchmark to ensure Converse's programs are innovative.


TEAM

  • Drive alignment and partnership with the Commercial function, aligning strategic plans for the retailers and ensuring that Brand objectives are aligned with commercial objectives.
  • Partner with Western Europe Brand Marketing team to leverage brand programming in support of retail opportunities.
  • Act as a lead stakeholder linking PR, Commercial and Operations to ensure alignment between sales goals, product assortment and marketing initiatives.
  • Build positive and effective relationships with the key retailer marketing teams.



Qualifications

REQUIRED SKILLS
  • 4-5 years working in brand marketing, ideally with a specific focus on holistic key account marketing and a strong focus on digital
  • Action oriented: Must be a self-starter and able to work and make independently sound decisions in a timely manner. Be able to get things done under pressure.
  • Thorough knowledge of the AGS/Berlin marketplace and ability to create a structured process within it
  • Strong organizational skills and Flexibility: Ability to prioritize and organize workload in response to aggressive timelines. Ability to be flexible and to quickly understand new information and situations to an always evolving environment
  • Communication skills: Strong ability to communicate with people across all different levels, nationalities and cultures within and outside the organization.
  • Networking: Establish relationships with key accounts, specialty accounts, geographical headquarter, vendors and maintain these relationships
  • Team player: Must be tactful with a strong team orientation. Proven ability to work with a team, give inputs, negotiate and support others. Able to work with different cultures
  • Keen eye for design, a passion for storytelling and sneaker love
