Converse Global Strategy Manager

As a Strategy Manager on the Global Strategy team you will partner with the team in developing and executing Converse's global long-term growth strategy.

You'll work directly with senior leadership to develop our one and three year strategic plans and lead the development and ongoing management of tools and processes to execute against the strategic plans. You will also lead cross-functional project teams to help identify and evaluate critical strategic priorities and to catalyze action against these priorities. In addition, you'll also support our consumer insights function; conducting consumer, competitive, and market analyses and synthesizing & delivering key findings to enable better decision making across the organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Support our annual strategy cycle by coordinating planning milestones and deliverables and working closely with senior leadership to identify, evaluate, and communicate critical strategic priorities
  • Data Analysis and Synthesis: Analyzes and integrates stakeholder interviews, market intelligence, financial scenarios, competitive benchmarking and consumer insights to identify macro, consumer, and competitive insights & drive strategy
  • Process Excellence / Project Management: Drives implementation of projects and large-scale initiatives by applying systematic thinking to map key priorities, milestones & deliverables


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's Degree and 2-5 years of experience
  • Experience within a consulting firm or within the strategy function at a top retail / consumer goods organization preferred.
  • Proven experience with preparation and delivery of executive level presentations
  • Demonstrated ability to complete quantitative and qualitative analysis and financial models
  • Proven ability to conduct and/or analyze research related to consumers, industries and competitors
  • Problem structuring and strategic problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills and project management skills
  • Experience with presenting and influencing senior leadership
  • Superior interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects at once, to operate with a high degree of ambiguity and to work with a flexible schedule
