Converse Global Costing Manager, Global Revenue and Margin Management

At our Converse Global HQ, located in Downtown Boston, we are looking for a Global Costing Manager, Global Revenue and Margin Management. In this role you will be partnering with peers in the Finance and Planning organization across Converse's Innovation, Design, and Product Develop teams. You will be a trusted advisor to Senior Leadership within both Finance and the Product organization. This role reports directly to the Director of Finance, Global Revenue and Margin Management.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead Team to work on product cost management (Including FW/APP/ACC) and support product margin expansion plan. Cooperate with Revenue/Margin planning team to support product team for better decision making.
  • Manage the Process to support New Product develop cost target setting according to game plan cadence from front to end, drive cost efficiency with best cost suggestion to work with Product Develop team/Design team/Product Plan team/CTS Costing.
  • Works with cross functional teams for long range product cost planning to support financial plan and drive the cost efficiency from material and labor side.
  • Work with CTS Costing to analyze each season cost breakdown to provide cost visibility
  • Works with cross functional teams to complete IFOB set up Process to ensure it's align with business activity and support for PO creation.
  • Drive and collaborate with cross-functional teams for process improvement and productivity improvement.
  • Any ad-hoc duties as required.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree- preferably in International Trade or Finance.
  • At least 6-8 years working within pricing, costing, or operations; preferably in a trading company or similar industry.
  • Experience managing a team.
  • Solid analytical skills, detail oriented and meticulous.
  • Advanced Excel experience required.
  • Knowledge of FlexPLM and SAP is a plus.
  • Strong Interpersonal and excellent communication skills across all levels of management.
  • Ability to work as a team or Independently.
