BUSINESS PLANNER ITALY

As theBusiness Planner Nike Partner Stores, you are responsible for driving sales growth and operational efficiency for Nike Direct within Italy.

You'll develop and lead the implementation of the new seasonal planning capabilities for the future to maximize profitability and inventory productivity for Nike and our partners, as well as the new business and operational models for Nike Partner Stores. You will lead the category game plan and ensure full alignment oin future seasons plans on the key partners for Italy.
As a business leader you'll communicate category planning strategies, vision, and business results to cross functional and category business partners. Communicate daily with the Nike Stores Partner leadership as well as cross functional teams within Nike Direct to ensure trading.
You'll develop methods for analyzing performance and results of planning strategies and make tactical adjustments to leverage opportunities for increased profitability. You'll influence the Buying team, collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure that our stores have the right product in the right quantity meet consumer demand. In addition, you'll mentor, educate, and coach others across the EMEA team to ensure we serve our consumers in a premium and consistent manner.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize demand through inventory productivity for Nike and our partners
  • In strong partnership with with our partners & the field team, will calculate the true consumer demand & the right product investment plan needed to support it.
  • Will play a key role in sucessfully executing the new business and operating model for Nike partners Stores
  • Thought the category game plan, will ensure full alignment on future seasons plans and risk on inventory for our key partners.
  • Will play a key role in implementing the new web based smart tools across EMEA to ensure an integrated & independent planning for Nike Direct.
  • Determine and execute key business initiatives that will drive business operations.
  • Will determine and take corrective actions against business risk.
  • Will be accountable to communicate results of any variances to targeted expectations across key stakeholders.
  • Will drive functional expertise to optimize the alignment with overall Nike Stores Partner strategy and overall Nike Direct.
  • Will promote process excellence across the team and foster collaborative relationships with cross functional partners to deliver the planning strategy ensuring the product at the right place and the right time.

Qualifications


  • Bachelor's /Master/ MBA degree in Business, Merchandising, Inventory Management, or a related field
  • 5 years' experience in Planning is preferred
  • Ability to solve complex problems; take a new perspective using existing solutions
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Windows applications, particularly Excel
  • Strong knowledge of process-flow through supply chain
  • Proficient information seeking skills and drive for results
  • Ability to share ideas and develop effective responses or elevate to higher management
  • Ability to network, utilize internal and external resources, deliver commitments, and to meet timelines
  • Fluent in English and Italian both written and verbal
