Brand Merchandising Supervisor, Kids Footwear - Asia

As a Merchandising Supervisor, you will be responsible for planning and driving assortments that are consumer right and seasonally relevant for Converse Kids Footwear. You will collaborate with the Global and Geography cross-functional teams to drive and communicate a clear direction and distinctive story every season. Key Accountabilities include: Understand and adapt the global strategy to make it regionally relevant for our consumers. Create consumer right assortments that are curated, productive and profitable to deliver on financial goals. Know the regional marketplace and competition with regards to kids' products, trends and pricing. Drive strategic conversation with global and regional teams, informed by marketplace capacity and end in mind planning. Read and react to seasonal analytics to identify opportunities to adapt future business. Maintain key relationships with Geography cross-functional partners to ensure clear & timely communication and alignment of seasonal initiatives, assortment strategies and product knowledge. Partner with regional product team to brief product opportunities that is locally relevant and missing in the global offering every season. Support the Footwear Brand Merchandising team during key gates and deliverables through the management of systems. Responsible for ensuring product tools and information accuracy during key gates. Qualifications Requires a Bachelor's degree or additional 2 years of experience in lieu of degree At least 2 years' experience in merchandising, product creation, and or retail, in a vertical, digital, or wholesale environment Proficiency in retail and profit based metrics A keen understanding of the Converse and Kid's consumer and marketplace A high taste level for product An ability to employ retail acumen and proven storytelling capabilities An ability to respond with speed and agility Proficiency in key applications including PowerPoint, Word and Excel. are a plus Candidate must be willing to travel 10-20% of the time
