Asia Pacific Latin America Category Finance Manager

As an APLA Category Finance Manager, you will be a key business partner for the Category GM and cross-functional leadership team. You'll also partner and collaborate across Global Category Finance and Territory Product/Margin Planner to drive and influence the business.You will help develop strategies and lead analyses that aid in the decision-making process and increased profitability for the Category. Specifically, you will lead 3-year Corporate Strategic Plan (CSR), next year plan through Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Budget as well as partner with the broader Revenue and Margin Management organization to drive opportunities for revenue growth and margin performance through Category Game Plan. You will also manage and may conduct the preparation of timely and insightful financial analysis to determine progress against strategic plan, budget and forecast, and to ensure the integrity of the financial statements. You'll also actively interpret and review financial and operational results with business managers, including marketplace trends/issues and opportunities.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in a Business-related field with an emphasis on Finance and/or Accounting, an advanced degree may be acceptable in lieu of 1 year of experience
  • 7 years' extensive experience in financial analysis, financial/strategic planning, accounting and/or budgeting
  • An MBA (with a concentration on Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field), CMA or CPA is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of strategic planning, budgeting, investment analysis and economic profit analysis and knowledge of GAAP is strongly preferred
  • Experience with a Fortune 500/multinational consumer products company is preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including meeting facilitation and presentations
  • Strong ability to communicate complex and/or controversial topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience
  • Strong ability to develop high profile, influential and collaborative relationships across teams, functions and layers
  • Excellent understanding and application of managerial concepts and techniques in areas such as innovation, inspiration, employee development, coaching and engagement
  • Ability to pass a 5-year background check
