Medical Professional Liability Underwriter

Candidates must have a minimum of 5-years’ experience as a medical professional liability underwriter for an insurance company or a program administrator as well as managing staff. Will need to obtain a Property & Casualty insurance license if you do not already have one.

We are looking for someone that has the ability to interact with clients (at all levels) and manage staff in a fast paced environment, sometimes under pressure, remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful and efficient, with a high level of professionalism is crucial to this role. Expert level written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail, and organizational skills are all equally important.

Responsibilities would include reviewing applications, rating, coverage analysis for different classes of medical professionals including interaction with current and potential clients as well as managing support staff.
