DC Plan Administrator

Responsibilities to include:

  • Confirmation of participant eligibility
  • Calculation of employer contributions (including cross-testing/partnerships & sole proprietors)
  • Deposit reconciliation
  • Trust Accounting
  • HCE/Key employee determination
  • IRC 410(b) Ratio Percentage Test
  • IRC 415 Annual Additions Test
  • IRC 416 Top-Heavy Test
  • IRC 401(a)(4) Non-discrimination Test
  • ADP/ACP Non-discrimination Test
  • Supplementary PPA Statements
  • Annual Required Participant Notices
  • Participant vesting calculation
  • Preparation of Form 5500 & all related schedules
  • Consulting to optimize plan to meet Plan Sponsor's goals
  • Distribution & loan review

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree or commensurate work experience
  • Must be knowledgeable of ERISA, IRS and DOL rules & regulations
  • Experience completing all required testing including: ADP/ACP, 402(g) limits, 415 limits, 416(c) Top Heavy, 410(b) Coverage, 414(s), New Comparability Cross Testing
  • Experience with trust reconciliation and completion of governmental forms (5500 & related schedules, 5330, 8955-SSA), experience working on 5500 plan audits
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with all levels of colleagues, vendors and clients
  • Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g., Excel, Word)
  • QPA or APA designation a plus
