Manager, Strategy & Analytics - Club Business Development

Manager, Strategy and Analytics, will be responsible for quantitative and strategic analyses in support of all NFL Club business, and tent-pole League initiatives such as the Super Bowl, Pro Bowl and International series. The successful candidate will drive key analysis from raw data through final presentation to inform decision-making on a variety of subjects including ticket pricing, marketing strategy, sponsorship measurement, and enhancing the fan experience.

Major Responsibilities:

Club Data Analysis and Best Practices-

  • Identify and develop strategies to assist Clubs in their business operations
  • Collect, report and analyze Club ticketing, pricing, staffing, and sponsorship data
  • Document and catalog best practices
  • Apply learnings from club business to key League initiatives such as ticket pricing for League events, marketing strategies, and group sales efforts
  • Develop strong, respectful relationships and build credibility with Club business contacts

Strategic Initiatives -

  • Identify and develop research, analyses, and recommendations in support of League decisions

General -

  • Interface with internal departments (e.g., Finance, Sponsorship, Corporate Development, Events)
  • Manage correspondence (e.g., Clubs)
  • Prepare briefing materials and presentations for executive staff and League/committee meetings

Required Skills/Knowledge:

  • Deep experience in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong quantitative, business, financial, and modeling skills
  • Knowledge of data visualization platforms such as Qlik and Tableau
  • Statistical knowledge (e.g., regression analysis) and software skills, such as SPSS, preferred
  • Ability to derive insights from data / analytics / research and present findings to all levels of an organization
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks, good time management and organizational skills
  • Strong communication, team building, and interpersonal skills
  • Detail oriented
