Freelance Brand Manager

As part of the Brand team, the Brand Manager assists in defining the long-term brand strategy for the League. He/she works with numerous sponsors, licensees, broadcast partners and the 32 Clubs to protect, grow and evolve the NFL brand, while delivering value.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Naming and logo development projects for new and existing League initiatives, including writing creative briefs at start of projects
  • Club logo and uniform development (working with Consumer Products Dept. and Nike)
  • Memorial, decal and patch development
  • Assist with Super Bowl décor management, including reviewing Super Bowl creative overseen by various departments across the League
  • Prepare Brand Alignments for Sponsors and potential partners
  • Review Partner creative for consistency with brand standards and correct logo usage

REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to prioritize workloads and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Outstanding problem solving/analytic capabilities and detail oriented
  • Strong communication (written & oral), and presentation skills with technical proficiency
  • Excellent project management process and methodology with effective time management skills
  • Excellent writing skills. Comfortable with creative writing and developing original content
  • Proactive attitude and ability to take the initiative is essential
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills, while maintaining the flexibility to change task and project directional priorities

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years of experience in an agency or Marketing department
  • Prior experience managing client relationships and project management
