Facilities Manager (Temporary)


The Facilities Manager ensures the smooth running of the day-to-day operations in the Culver City /LA office. Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:


  • Responsible for maintaining a safe and secure office environment
  • Arrange and oversee building maintenance, repairs, renovation projects, etc., within budgetary guidelines
  • Develop positive vendor relationships to ensure priority servicing
  • Liaise with property agents/landlord regarding overall maintenance of the building, office lease, and other real estate issues
  • Plan and execute office moves/refurbishment
  • Comply with local health and safety regulations
  • Create and implement office emergency guidelines and procedures
  • Coordinate with all stakeholders to ensure all new staff members’ work stations are set up appropriately
  • Maintain on and off-site storage and archiving of hard files to align with company policy
  • Ensure maintenance and servicing of office equipment, beverage/vending machines
  • Proactive approach to advances in office services and recommendations for upgrades, while ensuring all potential efficiencies are explored.
  • Manage receptionist and other administrative staff, if applicable
  • Business cards orders for new employees
  • Partner with Security Department on facilities related security issues
  • Draft facilities related communications to address changes, issues, etc.

Financial Management and Planning

  • Prioritize and follow up on billing/financial inquiries, communicating frequently with accounting staff
  • Prepare office services budgets
  • Establish and maintain good relationships with internal and external client contacts; manage communications regarding billing
  • Draft client correspondence (contracts, independent contractor agreements, LOIs) accurately and efficiently


  • Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum of 4 — 6 years of experience in office administration, operations, or facilities experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Manage time effectively and efficiently
  • Develop a good relationship with internal staff and external clients and vendors
  • Must be able to lift 50-75 lbs.
