Director, Fan Centric Marketing

The NFL's Fan Centric Marketing team is seeking a Director to help manage the league's marketing database, working with NFL Clubs and International Markets. This role will be responsible for developing strategies for targeted marketing campaigns, building relationships with the Clubs, International Markets and associated vendors, and executing and evaluating the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and execute acquisition and retention strategies and marketing plans to increase the growth of the Clubs' and International Markets' databases
  • Evaluate and optimize the effectiveness of marketing campaigns
  • Identify key insights and opportunities to increase efficiency and make recommendations accordingly
  • Create, monitor, and interpret data analysis
  • Execute and provide reporting on email marketing campaigns
  • Coordinate and communicate with the Clubs and International Markets on a frequent basis (meetings, calls, etc.)
  • Proactively identify and address any concerns regarding the security and quality of data
  • Work cross-functionally with numerous departments -- including Marketing, Club Business Development, and International -- on goals and initiatives

Required Education and Experience:

  • Strong quantitative, communication and organizational skills
  • Experience and advance knowledge of CRM and database systems/platforms, data taxonomy, and data security and transfer
  • Experience with executing email marketing campaigns and working with ESP
  • Proficient in spreadsheet analysis (e.g., Excel) and presentations (e.g., PowerPoint)
  • Candidate should understand the following: audience segmentation, KPIs, models, engagement metrics, automations, customer profiles and email marketing
  • Attention to detail and the ability to effectively multi-task
  • Bachelor's degree with at least 7-10 years of experience in Marketing, Database, and/or Analytical related roles

Travel:

  • About 30% travel will be anticipated
