Supplier Sales Development Representative

As a Supplier Sales Development Representative, you'll be integral to help drive growth within our organization as you will make initial contact with potential suppliers, educate them on the impact that Nexus can have on their organization regarding our electronic Payments initiative and Punchout Catalog offering, and will serve a pivotal role in securing new enrollments. Working hand-in-hand with Supplier Onboarding Managers, you'll turn leads into electronic payment acceptors and secure new opportunities with key decision makers.

About the Job

• Actively engage Suppliers via phone, email, & mailer regarding our electronic payments' initiative

• Help drive adoption, new logos and growth through high outbound activity

• Effectively communicate the value of Nexus to prospective suppliers

• Execute lead generation programs to increase attendance at upcoming events, seminars, and webinars

• Partner with Supplier Onboarding Managers to create customized account plans and strategies to support electronic payments adoption & punchout catalog

• A good command of account profiling and a proven ability to navigate to key contacts and identify account intelligence

• Meet/exceed assigned metrics

• Responsible for updating and managing activity in Salesforce

Requirements:

• Ability to thrive in a competitive, numbers-driven, performance-based environment

• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding activity metrics in a sales environment

• Relevant work or internship experience in sales or account management (1-3 years)

• Strong organization skills and time management skills, and ability to manage multiple projects and competing tasks/priorities

• Driven self-starter with high initiative, confidence, and "hustle" attitude

. A background in eCommerce and Virtual Credit Cards is preferred
