SaaS Account Executive

Forward thinking and experienced in selling, the SaaS Account Executive is responsible for selling Nextiva’s cloud-based business communication software. The SAE will be responsible for adhering to a monthly quota. With a positive attitude and a highly, self-motivated desire to constantly learn and grow within the organization, the SAE is a critical role within the Nextiva family. Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and apply an understanding of Nextiva’s products and how to effectively position Nextiva as the best choice for the Customer
  • Persuasively communicate strategies for meeting customer needs
  • Master and quickly adhere to Nextiva’s sales methodology, processes and prospecting techniques
  • Own a pipeline of valuable opportunities with the responsibility and expectation of building, maintaining and closing
  • Communicate appropriate product and technical information to prospective customers and conduct follow-up according to department standards
  • Interact with Customers at the C level to form relationships and drive long-term commitment and buying decisions
  • Build and manage your own book of business and drive the full sales cycle, from initial contact to close
  • Conduct live product demonstrations over the phone, via webinar, and in person
  • Manage accounts with direct involvement with escalations and/or customer concerns which directly impact Nextiva
  • Utilize sounds judgement and discretion when selling solutions, including pricing and contract terms that will have a major impact on Nextiva’s profitability
  • Manage and professionally document all steps of the selling process, including but not limited to marking sales stages, coordinating complex decisions, and overcoming objections at close
  • Attend trade show and industry events, as needed
  • Complete required sales process and pipeline activity tracking with detail and accuracy
  • Identify sales trends, document prospect feedback and contribute constructive feedback to our internal partners regarding marketing, product and systems
  • Continue training and education to keep pace with product modifications, industry changes and sales knowledge
  • Demonstrate commitment and engagement through seeking out additional responsibilities, volunteering for special projects, leading by example and sharing knowledge and best practices, with flexibility and adaptability
  • Perform other duties as assigned to contribute to overall sales and team results

Position Requirements:

  • 4+ years of sales experience, ideally with a CRM, telecommunications, technology, or SaaS company
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively in presentations via telephone and in person with prospective Customers
  • Strong emotional intelligence and intuition for steering conversations that move the sales forward
  • Able to work in fast-paced, self-directed entrepreneurial environment
  • Highly energetic, self-starter with a purpose driven, results oriented attitude
  • Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills
  • Demonstrable and quantifiable success generating and closing new business
