Employee Engagement Specialist

The Employee Engagement Specialist will develop and deliver development initiatives that directly enhance and impact employee and team capabilities for a fast paced, technology driven company.  An innovative thinker, they will support projects and programs that enable our Employee Experience.
This role supports all phases of the Employee Experience through strong partnerships within the Human Resources Department, cross-functional teams and employees at all levels that strive to impact process improvement and employee engagement.
The ideal candidate, working closely with the business, will facilitate, design and deliver learning solutions focused on leadership development and employee engagement.  This person will implement and measure initiatives that drive employee and team capabilities to enable the business to meet their organizational objectives. Instructional Design
Culture Integration and Employee Engagement
Leadership Development
Program Analysis and Evaluations

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conducts training needs analysis, program design, development, execution and ongoing program management and evaluation
  • Leverages skills and experience to support larger business unit – including culture integration, onboarding, leadership development, change management and learning initiatives
  • Aligns organizational knowledge with L&D initiatives leading to the development, coordination, and implementation of critical and applicable programs within the organization
  • Data identification and analysis (NPS/eNPS/Likert/L1-L4 Evaluations) used to identify metrics and trends that articulate the success and sustainability strategy for assigned programs
  • Explores industry trends and makes recommendations for program enhancement and activities to encourage employee engagement, retention, inclusion and growth
  • Administration and coordination of learning and/or talent development initiatives through web-based platforms (GoToTraining/WebEx/Zoom) and learning management system (HRIS/LMS)

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 3-5 years in Training, Learning and Development or HR field. Leadership, design or OD experience strongly preferred
  • 2-4 years’ experience in Employee Engagement, Building Culture, Learning, Leadership Development and/or Human Performance Technology
  • Strong relationship building skills and ability to partner with all levels of the business in a fast-paced, fast-growth, and complex business environment
  • Strong client management skills and ability to contract with business unit leaders and collaborate with HR partners in a fast-paced, fast-growth, and complex business environment
  • A successful track-record navigating and delivering results in a matrixed organization, with experience of operating globally
  • Highly articulate communication skills.  I.e. Writes well-structured and persuasive end products, probes deep on key issues, draws customer into problem solving, articulate and persuasive, synthesizes information well, is in command of the audience and turns presentations into constructive dialogues, develops comprehensive communication plans
  • Leverages Adult Learning Methodology to conduct needs analysis, design for both IL and web-based delivery, develops collateral, and uses data and metrics in overall approach. Experience with authoring tools.  E-Learning program experience preferred
  • Project Management experience.  Leveraging techniques and tools to support learning development projects (Project Plan Development, Execution, Control, and Evaluation)
  • Customer focus and a collaborative team-oriented attitude balanced with the ability to work independently
  • Articulating and driving results to achieve team goals

Education, Certificate and/or Licenses Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred - years of experience and or professional certifications could offset degree preferred
  • Post-graduate qualifications in Industrial / Organizational Psychology or Organizational Development highly desirable
  • CPLP or SHRM – CP / SCP
  • Coaching / Leadership Model certifications (E.g. DDI or Situational Leadership)
  • Certificate in change management, project management, organizational development, instructional design or related discipline
