Employee Engagement Coordinator

The Employee Engagement Coordinator will work closely with HR and business leadership teams to guide, inform and implement the Employee Engagement strategy for a fast paced, technology driven company.  They will be integral in the creation, delivery and integration of programs in support of the employee experience across all parts of the company.

This position supports and encourages an engaged, high performing culture that emphasizes connection to the vision, mission and values of the company through ownership, empowerment, wellness, quality, productivity and standards and goal attainment. The successful outcomes generated from employee engagement with be a greater sense of purpose, results and rewards for employees.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Develop tactics to deliver on set strategies that ensure the values are reflected in our day-today business and employee management tools and processes
  • Establish standard measurements to monitor the health of the culture and identifies potential hotspots where issues may be forming or currently exist
  • Builds relationships and connections across companies, departments and locations – ensuring subcultures tie into the organizational culture strategies and framework
  • Develop and execute employee-centered culture events in partnership with the Marketing team and other key partners as needed
  • Manages culture and engagement related vendors and suppliers in delivering on culture enhancing initiatives
  • Leads projects and other key initiatives as assigned
  • Explores industry trends and makes recommendations for program enhancement and activities to encourage employee engagement, retention, inclusion and growth
  • Administration, coordination and hands on support of engagement initiatives through web-based platforms (CoSpace/GoToTraining/WebEx/Zoom) learning management system (HRIS/LMS) and other vehicles

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 1- 3 years experience in Employee Engagement, Training, Leadership Development, Event Planning or an HR related field
  • Strong relationship building skills and ability to partner with all levels of the business in a fast-paced, fast-growth, and complex business environment
  • Highly articulate communication skills.  I.e. Writes well-structured and persuasive end products, probes deep on key issues, draws customers into problem solving, articulate and persuasive, synthesizes information well, is in command of the audience and turns presentations into constructive dialogues, develops comprehensive communication plans
  • Project Management experience.  Leveraging techniques and tools to support projects (Project Plan Development, Execution, Control, and Evaluation)
  • Client focus, and a collaborative team-oriented attitude balanced with the ability to work independently
  • Articulating and driving results to achieve team goals
  • Event planning capabilities to include creative concept ideas, planning, organizing resources and managing vendors for internal and external company events

Education, Certificate and/or Licenses Preferred:

  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred - years of experience and or professional certifications could offset degree preferred
  • Certificate in event planning, change management, project management, organizational development, instructional design or related discipline 
  • ATD-CPLP or SHRM – CP / SCP
  • Coaching / Leadership Model certifications (E.g. DDI or Situational Leadership)
