Compensation Analyst

The Compensation Analyst is responsible for administering and maintaining compensation policy and HRIS programs and procedures designed to continuously improve talent acquisition and retention capabilities globally. 

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Administer, maintain and support global compensation programs and procedures, including base and incentive pay, compensation survey management, talent market comp analysis, ad-hoc job analysis for all types of pay changes, compliance audits and total rewards benchmarking
  • Deliver to meet the basic reporting needs, and assist in the management and governance of a wide array of internal and external compensation, people and talent data to meet the functional needs of our services and analytic products
  • Help drive design, development, and administration of compensation policies, programs, and procedures
  • Submits data to compensation surveys and develops data pulls from compensation survey products, job benchmarking, and job matching
  • Maintains documentation for compensation plan documents
  • Assists in the merit and bonus process
  • Effectively manage competing priorities and deadlines to ensure on-time every time response to all ad-hoc stakeholder queries for basic Compensation services or products, and/or escalate as needed, to meet our service delivery commitments
  • Experience project managing or significantly contributing to the development, localization and implementation of global HR/Talent programs, projects or initiatives over a multiple year period
  • Troubleshoots to develop scalable solutions by integrating data between other systems of record (recruiting, accounting, performance management, etc.)
  • Help maintain system data integrity in systems by running queries and analyzing data
  • Provide support for HRMS, including researching and resolving HRMS problems, unexpected results of process flaws; performing scheduled activities; recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements
  • General ability to work in a high stress environment, maintaining confidentiality, influence stakeholders and navigate ambiguity are critically important

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in compensation analysis and/or consulting, preferably in a sales organization
  • Significant experience with talent and people data management and reporting
  • Certified Compensation Professional preferred
  • Attention to detail with understanding comp theory
  • Advanced skills required to manage, analyze and report data with Excel, Access, Payroll/HR/Talent Systems (ADP, iCIMS etc), MySQL, or another MS or open-source relational database management system
