Software Engineer Internship 2017

Summary

Newscred is looking for candidates to work as full-time interns on interesting projects based on Python/JavaScript.  We will only consider candidates who have completed their graduation or sitting for their final exams of their last semester in August.

Minimum 3 months extended upto 6 months

Requirements

We expect the candidates to have at least the following qualifications/skills:

  1. Programming knowledge, understanding database, knowledge of algorithm, data structure
  2. Good analytical skill
  3. Eager to learn
  4. Fluency in English
  5. Ability to work in a team and also independently
  6. Friendly, motivated

The project will be lead by direct guidance of a dedicated supervisor & with the help of other different technical mentors.

By the successful end of the program, we expect the interns to have following skills/knowledge

  1. Understanding Company & Culture

  3. Technical Skills -
    1. Programming in Python/Javascript
    2. Code Management(Code repository, revision control & code management) with github
    3. Configuration Management
    4. Cloud Infrastructure Management
    5. Understanding and manipulating data
    6. Testing
  4. Client (stakeholder) Support  [Optional]

 Expected deliverables

  1. A workable solution for the project.
  2. A document on the entire work, e.g. internship paper
  3. Presentation of project

Upon successful completion of the internship program, outstanding candidates may be offered a full-time position as a Software Engineer.
