NewsCred is looking for a Salesforce Administrator with a passion for data integrity, and the technical skills to build out and navigate our current CRM suite of tools, primarily Salesforce Sales Cloud. Improving our business processes is going to help us get to the next level of sales, marketing, and leadership.
Strong candidates are self-starters, collaborators, have a mind for both system and data integrity and have a strong interest in tying details to the big picture that drives an organization. We are looking for an analytical and hands-on team member who can go deep on systems and details while developing effective relationships with sales leaders, customer success leaders, and company executives.
As the primary owner of the Salesforce Sales Cloud platform, you will assume the responsibility of maintaining the current system setup, from architecture to setup to administration. Your day-to-day will range from ensuring accurate data within SFDC, supporting reps and sales leaders with reports / dashboards, and leading initiatives for new or revised workflows. You will also partner with field team leaders (sales leaders, customer success leaders) to ensure proper metrics are tracked and monitored for business analysis.
A sales background is not required, but you will interact daily with the field team and company leaders. This is a great role for broad exposure across the organization and up the organization.
A list of the main responsibilities include the following:
Maintain SFDC system operations and data integrity, including project managing and driving initiatives around platform updates, new configurations, and new integrations with other company systems.
Create and maintain strategic reports & dashboards to support reps, team leaders and company executives.
Partner and support the field team with optimizing usage of SFDC, including consulting on workflows and evaluating sales/customer tools that interface with SFDC.
Work with sales/customer success leaders to investigate and analyze efficiencies and other operational insights, including running retrospectives on areas of the deal cycle -- like close rates, pipeline movement, seller efficiency, etc…
Other ad hoc projects and responsibilities, as you will be responsible for relentlessly driving our sales and customer success teams to be more efficient and successful!

Skills and Qualifications:
A passion for data integrity and analysis within and across systems!
Two to five years experience in Salesforce administration with expertise in creating/managing workflow rules, data validations, triggers, products, forecasting, custom objects and integrations with external applications, such as Netsuite.
Experience managing and implementing 3rd party CRM and project management tools
Strong project management skills and stakeholder management experience, such as requirements gathering, proactive communication, and collaboration.
Effective communication skills when collaborating across teams - presenting status, driving clarity of next steps, troubleshooting/explaining analysis.
Technical background with experience in an agile organization
Salesforce.com Admin Certification
SQL and APEX coding experience a plus.
