We’re looking for smart, charismatic people that are client-facing, genuinely curious about making workplaces more human and have experience with applying adult learning theories and instructional design methodology to design and develop quality in-person and virtual learning experiences.

The Instructional Designer uses knowledge of the L&D space and the training function to design and create a variety of learning solutions to support strategic business initiatives and provide effective learning solutions that enhance NLI’s corporate clients’ learning experience. The ideal candidate will be a valuable thinking partner whose ID expertise will lead to effective learning solutions for our clients.

Here’s a bit about who you are and what you’ll be doing:

You have 5+ years experience confidently advising C-level client stakeholders down to their learning program managers on instructional design theories, methodologies, technologies, strategies and best practices
Your expertise is in the effective Needs Analysis, Design and Development of custom experiential learning solutions from conception to completion
You have worked extensively on learning solutions that are custom-made for specific clients
You are well versed in producing learning design deliverables, including storyboards, scripts, presentations, handbooks, and interactive learning exercises
You have experience using measurement and evaluation strategies to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of learning solutions on employee/organizational performance
You have knowledge of and willingness to stay abreast of new trends in adult learning and instructional design theories and their application in training development
You have a strong ability to quickly learn conceptual IP “on the job” via observation and interaction
You’ll work closely with solutions team members to conceptualize, design, and create highly customized, interactive learning solutions that target learning objectives and meet stakeholder needs
You’ll review and update curriculum materials periodically across programs and delivery methods
Experience with learning content development and delivery technologies via an LMS, LXP, and/or CMS a plus
