Event Coordinator

Los Angeles, CA

We are seeking an innovative and detail oriented Events Coordinator to support our Events Production Manager and Sr. Brand Experience Manager in pre-production and execution of brand experiences, special events, and corporate partnerships. This role requires a strong problem solver and confident multi-tasker with experience in event management.

Responsibilities:

  • Support Events Production Manager with pre-production and day-of execution 
  • Support Sr. Event Sales Manager with initial leads, client walk-throughs and support production with small-scale meetings
  • Liaise with third party vendors (staffing, rental) to meet all event needs
  • Communicate event details/changes with all internal departments (F&B, Facilities, Operations)
  • Assist in the setup, management and breakdown of events
  • Create weekly Events meeting packet, summarizing event needs for the upcoming week (ie run of show, BEOs, AV needs, floor plans p/event)
  • Track expenses, receipts p/event
  • Manage event documentation (contact list, guest lists)
  • Collect and submit COIs and event notices to building

Qualities:

  • 1-3 years of events experience, including events execution
  • Strong knowledge of standard MS Office 
  • Advanced Excel, Keynote comprehension is a plus
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organized, detail-oriented
  • Ability to prioritize, multi-task
  • Strong time management skills
  • Ability to solve problems as they come up through production and execution
  • Confident speaking with clients and a comprehensive understanding of NeueHouse
