Description
DESCRIPTION (RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES)
Ensure compliance with Nestle Hygiene, HACCP, Sanitation and GMP requirements. Ensure efficient water processing operations to support plant production and ensuring compliance with plant quality program requirements. Other activities and duties as required to meet departmental and factory goals. Participation in all required safety program activities.
• Manage ALE mineral and flavor skid (CIP's, batching, training etc.)
• Line Audits, Duplicate line quality checks, and Release as necessary
• Performs and monitors water processing CIPs in accordance with NWNA requirements
• Monitor the RO units and other water processing equipment
• Monitor and document Atlantium UV systems
• Monitor micro-filtration system (filter changes, filter flushes, pressure readings, flow rates)
• Monitor UV lights on all lines and perform routine maintenance on units to ensure correct operations
• Monitor ozone on all lines and perform daily calibration and duplicate verification checks
• Assist in maintaining mineral inventories (material movement, FIFO, expiration dates, EWM.)
• Manage ALE spring water silo levels. Maintain communication with spring's management
• Work with tanker drivers to obtain tanker samples for micro testing
• Supports production operation by maintaining efficient WP operations
• Support production and equipment inspection needs following Quality issues identified, quality holds, maintenance interventions for product contact equipment, glass breakage, etc.
• Ensures QA standards are maintained to meet requirements of NWNA
• Performs QA checks according to NWNA, QMS and MSR requirements
• Maintain 5S standards for water processing, essence room, chemical room
• Utilize NCE tools for the continuous improvement of SOPs, 5S Standards, SHO process and support implementation of best practices
• Work with maintenance team to create work orders to implement repairs to equipment, replace leaking gaskets, and safety and quality risks identified in the work areas in a timely manner
• Needs to be able to self-manage time and be available to cover sick and vacation days for sanitation technicians
• Other additional duties may be necessary to support the maintenance and operation of water processing
Qualifications
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Working knowledge of basic Software programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SAP) or the ability to learn these programs
• Strong communication, leadership and multi-task abilities are required
• Ability to be self-managed, scheduling and performing work often unsupervised
• Ability and drive to learn water processing functions
• Capable of working cross functionally with all departments
• Effective communication skills with all levels of the organization
• Team player with good communication skills
• Reliable, motivated, dedicated and committed
• Demonstration of a continuous improvement mindset
• Ability to problem solve and make decisions in independent and team settings, using problem solving tools such as GSTD
Be proficient in NCE methodologies with the ability to learn or incorporate TPM methodologies as they expand to Water Processing
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs. repeatedly
• Must be flexible in working hours - overtime, vacation coverage to assist with supporting the department
