The Marketing, Analytics and Communication BSA is seeking a Marketing Automation developer to specialize in Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

This position will support Campaign Management and Web Data Analytic applications.

  • Deep understanding of the Salesforce ecosystem, data models and common integration points with marketing systems.

  • Current knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, it’s features/functionalities and the channel applications within the platform.

  • Ability to lead and facilitate design sessions and requirement gathering.

  • Experience in gaining understanding in current state business processes, creating system designs as well as making recommendations for improved future state processes and system designs.

  • Preferred experience in marketing technology and/or consulting with hands-on experience implementing Salesforce Marketing Cloud, including familiarity with Journey Builder, Social Studio, the Marketing Cloud connector.

  • Experience implementing monitoring services to proactively identify issues.

This role will have the following specific responsibilities:

  • Provide consulting as well as hands-on design and Salesforce Marketing Cloud configuration for enterprise projects.

  • Work with architecture across multiple business areas to design systems integrations and determine optimal data flows.

  • Maintaining updated system documentation and policies/procedures related to Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

  • Actively transfer knowledge to others in and across organizations, participate in knowledge sharing activities to develop best practices, lead knowledge sharing sessions

  • Manage tasks and projects in a fast-paced environment, driving all issues to resolution with a strong focus on meeting business objectives and efficient at task execution.

  • Maintain and demonstrate 100% compliance with all security policies and change management controls.

  • Troubleshoot issues and coordinate with appropriate peer and vendor teams to resolve. Facilitate escalations where necessary.

As a Software Engineer, you will focus primarily on providing high quality, efficient technology solutions to business partners by crafting new software applications or modifying and/or supporting existing packaged or custom-built applications. In this capacity, you’ll analyze, code, configure, test, debug, document and maintain applications.

  • Analyzes, solutions, develops, tests, debugs, documents and deploys software according to standards in an agile environment.

  • Uses DevSecOps practices, tooling and techniques.

  • Drives continuous improvement and learning through ongoing training, practice and innovation.

  • Manages medium to large project priorities, deadlines and deliverables proactively.

May perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Reporting Relationships: Reports to a Technology Manager/Director. 

Typical Skills and Experiences:

Education: Completion of undergraduate studies in computer science, management information systems, or other related degree. Technology experience or non-traditional technology certificates can be substituted for an undergraduate degree. 

Experience: Four or more years of analysis and technology experience.

Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: Proficiency in one or more programming language such as Java, C++, Python, JavaScript. Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle. Proven ability to tackle complex business and development problems. Ability to thrive in a team environment. Insurance/financial services industry knowledge a plus.

Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence. 

Staffing exceptions to the above must be approved by the hiring manager’s leader and Human Resources Business Partner.
