CFC has a need for a Sr. Financial and Industry Consultant in the BID - Financial Analysis Prod & Ser group. In this position you will have the opportunity to provide services to electric cooperative members, affiliated organizations and CFC staff to serve, innovate, design and present financial/statistical decision making models.
As a Sr. Financial and Industry Consultant, you will:
• Provides on-site consultancy on financial and industry matters to members, assisting with their use of CFC member facing models, analyzes various business opportunities and provides other solutions as requested.
• Plays a lead role in the innovation, development and deployment of new and existing financial, statistical and economic models.
• Creates and delivers professional instruction using custom training courses on current financial models and programs to members and CFC staff for use in affiliated organizations educational programs.

To be successful, you will need:
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, economics or equivalent field.
• MBA, CPA or equivalent field is preferred.
• 10 years of relevant experience in the electric utility industry or providing financial/accounting consultative services to the electric utility industry.
• Experience innovating and managing model development. •
• Advanced financial and cost accounting, budgeting, forecasting, research and analytical skills.
• Advanced presentation skills and a proven ability to effectively communicate to a full range of management levels.
• Proven customer service orientation.
