We connect the best venues and small businesses to prospective clients by leveraging advertising and marketing opportunities across a variety of Meredith properties, including Better Homes & Gardens, Midwest Living, mywedding, Martha Stewart Weddings, Shape and the Parents' network. The right candidate will be highly motivated, excellent at multi-tasking, entirely comfortable ending their relationship with their dry cleaner because we can wear jeans to work, jam out to a diversity of music and enjoy breathtaking views of the mountains, all while collaboratively working to develop and implement mywedding’s social media strategy.
About the job:
- Oversee social media activity to shape a deeper relationship and dialogue with our consumer to increase brand awareness, drive traffic to our site and increase customer acquisition.
- Work with internal editorial, creative and development teams, outside vendors and freelancers to develop, execute and market social programs.
- Monitor and report trends in social media tools and research innovations in emerging social platforms and technologies to grow following and customer acquisition.
- Monitor the competition and be aware of market changes and developments.
- You are extremely organized, able to multi-task and enjoy working in a fast paced team environment.
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- You are self directed, goal oriented and have accountability for your work.
- You have 2-3 years previous social media experience with proven ability to grow a brand’s social footprint.
