Coatroom Attendants (part-time)
The Museum of Contemporary Art Chicago seeks part-time Coatroom Attendants to check coats and bags, set up and maintain an orderly coat check, maintain Lost and Found, stock public areas with printed MCA materials, and provide customer service during public hours and at a variety of special events. Coatroom Attendants are representatives of the MCA and must be able to provide up-to-date and accurate information about MCA exhibitions and events.
Previous customer service experience required. Art background preferred. Ability to speak and understand a language in addition to English is an asset. Must be prompt, dependable, and able to stay in coatroom for extended periods of time. This position requires general mobility throughout the building, reaching, bending, and the ability to safely lift fifty pounds. Schedules are flexible and may include weekend day shifts as well as weekend and/or weekday evening shifts.
