Sr. Analyst, Online Analytics
Department: Web Analytics (Reports to Director of Analytics)
The Sr Analyst, Online Analytics will play a key role in both building out the reporting and analysis infrastructure as well as contributing to the profitability and optimization of Murad's expanding online businesses. Qualified candidates will enjoy digging into data to identify anomalies and trends that will drive key business initiatives and profitability. Must be able to lead and be a quick learner, detail oriented and strategically focused.
• Enhance, and maintain tag management system (Adobe Launch/Google Tag Manager). Design, improve site data structures to be captured and synthesized by site tags.
•Develop and maintain ongoing web analysis reports by collecting and integrating data from various sources, utilizing data warehouses and/or ETL tools such as Alteryx
•Establish consistent analytics methods to create efficiencies
•Measure and analyze site clickstream data, traffic patterns, traffic sources, funnel conversion, as well as content and product performance
•Work on standardization of reports measuring sales and marketing performance across multiple dimensions including product, channel, property, campaign, customer segment, and discrete time periods
•Work with the ecommerce team to design, implement, and interpret A/B and multivariate test results
•Engage in "root cause" analysis to assess changes in metrics and underlying causes and provide recommendations for improvement
•Create, manage and distribute data and insights via regular and ad-hoc reporting utilizing analytics tools and reporting/analysis platforms (Oracle BI, Alteryx, Tableau, SQL, Excel, etc.)
•Make recommendations for optimization of the online customer experience by utilizing the full ecosystem of data sources
•Have a comprehensive understanding of web analytics tool implementation.
•Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Economics, Computer Science or related field
•Minimum of 3-5 years of experience using web analytics tools
•Experience with Adobe SiteCatalyst, including tagging enhancements, and Google Analytics required
•Experience with data visualization tools: Tableau, Looker etc.
•Experience with ETL tools such as Alteryx, Informatica or FiveTran a plus.
•Experience with A/B and Multivariate testing required
•Experience with tag management systems, debuggers, display advertising, email, SEM, social media, marketing automation, personalization, and attribution models
•Experience in the analysis of online marketing, sales and website behavior
•Ability to access, manipulate, analyze, trend and interpret data
•Knowledge of online metrics, online payment models and SEM/SEO
•Strong knowledge of SQL and other query languages (experience using snowflake a plus)
•Advanced Excel user
•Strong organizational, written communication and presentation skills
