Stock Analyst

The employee stock program is an important part of rewarding MuleSoft employees in meaningful ways. The Total Rewards team oversees our global stock program to help Muleys make the most of their equity. This individual will provide direct support to our Accounting, Legal, and People Ops teams as well as employees across 15 countries as we move from private to public equity compensation programs.

About the Role:

  • Administer the company’s global equity programs and ensure that all equity transactions are accurately processed and settled in a timely manner
  • Process stock grants, exercises, transfers and repurchases
  • Ensure alignment with Payroll, Accounting, People Ops, Legal and other internal related business partners
  • Design and present employee education sessions, including weekly New Hire Orientation and quarterly employee seminars
  • Assist with implementation of public company equity programs and policies, including ESPP and insider trading compliance
  • Reconcile monthly and quarterly share plan activity
  • Build analytics to report on employee behavior against market trends
  • Assist with compensation and benefits matters to cross train on all team functions
  • Develop content for and build out equity related pages on corporate intranet
  • Use the MuleSoft suite of Products - Work directly with IT to finalize systems integrations between our equity platform, HR system and accounting and payroll systems

Position Deliverables:

30 days:

  • Master day to day equity processes - exercises, terminations, managing the team inbox
  • Become proficient with using the Schwab Equity Platform - loading transactions, running reports, completing basic audits

60 days:

  • Review and update standard education materials, including New Hire Orientation, and start delivering presentations
  • Begin reconciling month and quarter end activity

90 days:

  • Work cross functionally with IT, People Ops, and related vendors to project manage systems integrations to ensure public company readiness
  • Begin cross training on compensation matters, including assisting managers with comp changes and promotions

About You:

  • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience. CEP Level 1+
  • Ability to think strategically and act operationally
  • Ability to manage ambiguity, risk and changing direction of projects and strategies
  • Excellent analytical skills with a strong command of spreadsheet skills and data management
  • Excellent project management skills; strong written and oral communication skills
  • Creative and solution-oriented problem solver
  • Demonstrated history of automating processes
  • Ability to perform a variety of complicated tasks and shift focuses frequently
  • Self-starter who relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals
  • Team player with a “can-do” attitude and sense of humor
