Train the world! Our mission is to train and educate customers, partners, integrators, internal personnel, and all developers on the MuleSoft products, architecture, operations, deployment best practices, and how to deliver digital transformation through APIs and Microservices.

About the Position:

High quality broadly adopted training is critical to successful customer deployments, system integrator engagement and ecosystem growth. Our team has built a reputation for delivering exceptional programs. We’re now reaching a size where we need to scale those programs by a factor of 10 without losing effectiveness and while expanding our impact.  Global training and education is and will be a competitive advantage for MuleSoft. We’re going to rely on our new Global Training leader to take us to the next level of growth and impact.

As the leader of Global Training, you will be located in our San Francisco Headquarters and will lead the worldwide training organization. Your skills sets will address and deliver:

  • Management leadership and coaching
  • Operational Excellence
  • Drive growth - in students, training days, adoption, and revenue/profits
  • Innovation - that delivers world class and industry recognized enterprise software leadership in training and education

Position Deliverables:

30 days:

  • Immerse yourself in MuleSoft
  • Take product training
  • Take sales training (get certified) - how we sell at MuleSoft, our value proposition
  • Get to know the team
  • Review and get familiar with training curriculum

60 days:

  • Take ownership of MuleSoft India training initiative and define the plans
  • Global tour across the EMEA and APAC team
  • Engage actively with internal personnel in Channels organization
  • Engage actively with Channels to understand options for increasing penetration
  • Engage actively with marketing to understand marketing promotional plans

90 days:

  • Roll out updated, as needed, India penetration plan
  • Roll out updated, as needed, System integrator penetration plan
  • Ensure Marketing and training are aligned on strategic objectives and tactical plan
  • Take ownership of training P&L
  • Recommendations to drive tenfold growth in number of people trained

About You:

  • You have experience scaling a global training organization
  • You can take a high performing team to a level even higher
  • You are an innovator and have created new ways of delivering training programs
  • You take great pleasure from the rush of seeing a group of people transformed after participating in your training programs
  • You’re a student of the way people learn - You’ve been experimenting for several years with new ways of delivering engaging content, while keeping the best elements of traditional delivery
  • Your bar for quality is extremely high, and you hold those around you to that standard
  • You have built teams, enjoy managing others and know what talent you need to scale a training operation
  • You are a team player and aren’t afraid to get your hands dirty
  • You have excellent presentation, communication, writing, interpersonal, and coaching skills.
  • You have knowledge of adult learning theory and experience in training program administration, training methodologies, and application of metrics to assess training effectiveness.
