Solutions Consultant, Technology Partners

MuleSoft is looking for a dynamic Technology Partners Solutions Consultant to act as a trusted advisor to MuleSoft’s Technology Partners on a lean, high-impact team working with powerhouse partners such as Apptus, Marketo, DocuSign, and Pega. As our first Technology Partners Solutions Consultant, you will guide our strategic Partner Technologists, CTOs, Engineers, Sales teams, and Consultants through the MuleSoft Point of View. You will collaborate with brilliant minds from our Business Development team and Technology Partners to ideate, build, and take joint solution capabilities to market, while also working cross-functionally with Product, CTO, and Engineering within MuleSoft to drive new innovations and platform functionality.

You will be the key technical contact supporting MuleSoft Technology Partners and lead the technical exploration that builds engineer-to-engineer relationships and demonstrations across a broad range of technologies, including Security, Business Intelligence, Big Data, BPM, CI/CD, MDM, Managed File Transfer, vertical industries, and others. No other role provides exposure to such a wide breadth of technology with the ability to define solutions that may get used across all of our customers.

What you’ll achieve:

3 months:

  • Become certified in MuleSoft’s Developer trainings
  • Complete MuleSoft’s Kickstart sales training
  • Begin to build your MuleSoft architecture reframe and white boarding skills through educating our Technology Partners

12 months:

  • Become certified in all Product, Architecture, and Market Messaging trainings
  • Deliver product presentations and demonstrations that are tailored to the Technology Partner’s technical requirements and audience
  • Develop joint solutions as the lead technologist with our Technology Partners
  • Track the performance of your joint solutions in the marketplace
  • Partner with the office of the CTO and Product Management to identify and develop a Technology Partner strategy

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • Pre-Sales enterprise software experience, skillset to establish trust with technology partners, and ability to influence key partner personas
  • Experience building and delivering Proofs of Concept (PoCs) and responding to functional & technical elements of RFIs/RFPs independently and effectively
  • Ability to lead architectural discussions
  • Hands on experience with middleware, integration architecture patterns, web services technologies, enterprise messaging patterns, APIs, SOA, ESB, BPM etc., is preferred
  • Hands on Java development experience and ability to code and debug against Java APIs is preferred 
  • Experience with cloud technologies - iPaaS, SaaS applications, cloud infrastructure, etc., is preferred
  • Interest and intellectual curiosity in a wide range of technical areas
  • A passion for technology and translating that passion into business impact
  • Excellent verbal communication, written communication, and presentation skills
  • Ability to travel as needed and to work flexible hours throughout the sales territory
