About the Team

The Identity & Governance team is responsible for building the experiences and services that enable people and organizations to adopt the platform. We are responsible for the concepts of identity, membership, access control, auditing and compliance, entitlements, consumption limits, and the administration experience for organization owners.

About the Position

As a Software Engineer in the Identity and Governance team, you will:

  • Be building and scaling micro-services that are at the heart of the platform; every platform component depends upon the services we provide
  • Work with a modern technology stack and clean codebase, with good design and test practices and peers who care about doings things right
  • Be part of a fast-moving agile development team delivering a roadmap of strategic enablers for our external and internal customers
  • Enable self-service consumption of key reusable services and components by other platform teams
  • Have the ability to grow and create impact in a group with expanding scope of ownership and green-fields projects

About You

First and foremost, we’re looking for smart engineers who can get stuff done - ideally we’re looking for:

  • Great engineering skills, strong CS fundamentals and elegance in your work
  • Expertise in at least one language and enthusiasm to learn others. NodeJS experience would let you hit the ground running, but our engineers have all kinds of backgrounds, including Java, C++, Python and JavaScript.
  • A strong sense of ownership of the work you do, and belief in doing things the right way for the right reasons
  • Experience building great products and proven track record of solving problems creatively
  • A fanatical pursuit of quality, with a strong appreciation for the connection between the software you build and the experience it delivers to customers
  • An innovative and fast learner; versatile in team environment; battle-tested in cloud scale systems
  • Expertise in the security domain (RBAC, Encryption, Federation / SSO, SAML, OAuth)
  • Experience with compliance programs such as PCI, CSA, ISO, FedRAMP, HIPAA a plus
