Senior Associate, Partner Marketing

About the Team:

This one of the most cross-functional and visible roles at MuleSoft. In a single day you could work with every member of the marketing team, partner organization, and also have face to face meetings with our most strategic partners. You will be surrounded by the brightest industry marketers, digital marketers and largest partner accounts in the world.

About the Position:

Warning! This not a traditional partner marketing role. The partner marketer is the recommender for partner campaigns. They have a marketing counterpart at partner organizations that they work closely with to ensure enablement activities are scheduled and campaigns are launched to generate pipeline. The ideal candidate is familiar with an indirect sales model, an excellent communicator both written and verbally and a track record of driving marketing activities.

Position Deliverables:

30 days

  • Demonstrate an understanding of MuleSoft's marketing processes and partner account plans
  • Get up to speed on MuleSoft's Anypoint Platform and partner solutions in development
  • Learn the partner onboarding process for marketing, technical and sales areas
  • Provide recommendations to improve 6-month campaign plan with strategic and top premier partners such as Deloitte, PwC and Infosys
  • Provide recommendations to improve digital communications and engagement across partner population

60 days

  • Drive execution of monthly newsletter, webinars, web properties and email nurtures
  • Develop newsletter, webcast and email nurture plans for 2H17
  • Plan for key partner marketing events
  • Drive the creation of always-on programs that field teams can leverage (e.g. seminar-in-a-box for key solutions)

90 Days

  • Work with PR on specific partner related announcements
  • Accelerate the contact acquisition among strategic and premier partners.
  • Update partner marketing enablement materials and host partner marketing webcast showcasing best practices
  • Maintain partner co-marketing guidelines and templates (ensure templates and instructions are updated, latest branding is used, etc.)
  • Show early success of "to partner" outbound marketing programs (e.g. increase in open rates, signups, etc.)

About You:

  • 2+ years of marketing experience
  • Bachelor's degree or minor in business, economics, communications, marketing or relevant studies
  • Organized and programmatic thinker - able to develop campaign recommendations and plans
  • Creative - acknowledged for contributing out of the box thinking
  • Results oriented - track record of creating and managing marketing programs that contribute to pipeline
  • Excellent communication skills - comfort working across functions and teams and with executives
