About the Position:

The Sales Systems team at MuleSoft is at the heart of all of customer and partner related transactions, from when a prospect lead is generated to the closing of an order and the initiation and support of a customer. Reporting into the Sales Operations team, this role will give you an opportunity to touch and streamline many aspects of the business and collaborate with different departments within the company and external partners supporting our development efforts. 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to drive business process automation for the lead-to-cash process
  • System administration of Salesforce.com, Salesforce CPQ (Steelbrick), Gainsight and other 3rd party CRM related tools
  • Plan, gather requirements, design solution, develop, user testing and deployments for new system enhancements and projects
  • Leverage external development partners to deliver projects
  • Collaborate with IT to oversee integrations to 3rd party systems like NetSuite and Workday
  • Review new system releases to gain new ideas and best practices for improving our systems
  • Ensure data quality and consistency for use in various reports, dashboards and analysis activities
  • Troubleshoot system issues and deliver a plan to resolve with minimal interruption to users

Position Deliverables:

30 Days:

  • Complete MuleSoft’s Onboarding program
  • Learn the MuleSoft Sales System landscape
  • Meet all system stakeholders and external partners
  • Quickly come up to speed on our Lead to Cash processes
  • Understand MuleSoft’s Mission and product offerings
  • Learn our process for managing new system requests and deployment schedule
  • Support user acceptance testing and shadow deployments
  • Shadow interactions with development partners

60 Days:

  • Take on new system requests and define plan and approach
  • Oversee user onboarding process and integration supporting the process
  • Continue shadowing interactions with development partner
  • Maintain request documentation in our tracking system

90 Days:

  • Execute system requests end to end
  • Delivered at least one improvement in process or completion of operational process
  • Manage workload for a delivery partner
  • Take on a mid-scale project with cross-functional dependencies

About You:

  • 3+ years of experience working with the Salesforce.com platform and are an expert in system permissions, data security, declarative configuration, and read code and knows when to apply. Experience with communities is a plus
  • You are Salesforce.com certified, administrator and/or developer preferred
  • Familiar with configure, price, and quote (CPQ) tools. Experience with Salesforce CPQ (Steelbrick) is a plus
  • You have used 3rd party tools from the Salesforce AppExchange and knows the new feature release cycles
  • Excellent understanding of the system development lifecycle
  • Demonstrated ability leading and executing cross-functional enhancements and projects
  • You are analytical and data-driven and are very comfortable using Excel and other data manipulation tools
  • You are passionate about systems and creating automation to improve MuleSoft’s ability to scale and grow our business
