Sales Operations at Mulesoft is an exciting role that gives you a chance to touch many aspects of the business and to collaborate with different organizations within the company. Sales Operations team brings home the money by closing and provisioning each customer order. In addition to that responsibility we also work with sales metrics and analysis, enabling the field on our systems and processes stewarding the data in the systems, and providing personalized service across the global teams. About the Position:

You can take part in that exciting adventure as part of this team!

  • 70% of your time will be working with the field to bring in and process customer orders
  • 30% of your time will be working on special projects consisting of metrics and analysis, system and process improvements, data stewardship and field enablement

Position Deliverables:

30 Days:

  • Quickly come up to speed on our systems and processes
  • Understanding of the provisioning and booking policies
  • Able to provision temp keys, book single-year renewals, service orders and new business
  • Able to route documents for signature via DocuSign
  • Able to respond to 30-40% of cases in the queue

60 Days:

  • Identify areas for improvement or greater efficiency
  • Take on responsibility for owning an operational project
  • Take on ownership for specific region/field team or layer of order processing
  • Able to respond to 60-70% of cases in the queue
  • Able to apply the details of the provisioning and booking policies

90 Days:

  • Able to respond to 90-100% of cases in the queue
  • Delivered at least one improvement in process or completion of operational process
  • Able to book more complicated multi-year renewals or new business
  • Develop a roadmap of training needs based on your observations and conversations with the field
