The Sales Enablement Associate role is designed to provide a strong development path for a candidate early in their career.  Our small, high-impact team provides a platform to have tremendous impact on our global field org, and we are looking for someone with the desire and intellect to fully maximize this opportunity.  As our Sales Enablement Associate, you will initially take on operational responsibility for many of the enablement team’s programs, including:

  • Providing a smooth experience for our new hires and other program participants by running our learning management system (LMS)
  • Ensuring that in-person training programs demonstrate excellence to our field through their meticulous management and flawless execution
  • Driving visibility and accountability on completion of training programs, using data and strong communication skills to motivate people to take action

You’ll continually look for ways to automate tasks and find new efficiencies in how our Sales Enablement Team executes. This side of the job needs someone who is exceptionally organized and who prides themselves on mastering the details. This role will expose you to the MuleSoft value proposition, customer engagement model and our techniques for making our programs highly impactful for our field organization.

As you gain confidence in our material, you’ll play an increasing role in developing training programs for the field, with a goal of becoming a core member of our content development and delivery team. You’ll be a thought partner with other parts of our business that need to train our field on new material, helping to connect the dots between their concept and having the new ideas retained and used by the field org. You’ll help them distil this material to its most important elements, using your empathy for how members of our field team take in information to ensure that the output achieves its objectives in a highly-engaging manner.  You’ll then find ways to measure the results of the program.

Position Deliverables:

30 Days:

  • Fully immerse in the field by participating in the Account Development onboarding program. Learn what they do every day, how they manage themselves, and what metrics matter to them. You’ll also learn a lot about the MuleSoft’s go-to-market narrative and business model along the way
  • Shadow our Sales Enablement Manager as she runs existing programs.  Document how existing programs are run

60 Days:

  • Assume primary responsibility for managing our LMS
  • Identify and prioritize gaps in existing e-learning materials
  • Identify one area where Account Executives do not have a well-defined best practice, and where variability and uncertainty are hurting performance
  • Shadow other enablement team members as they craft training materials
  • Participate in Kickstart, our live, 4-day boot camp for field employees

90 Days:

  • Roll out updated e-learning modules that solve your highest-priority items
  • Fill the gap in best-practice behavior you identified above by interviewing to practitioners, developing materials that help others replicate what they do, and promoting the content to the appropriate audience
  • Own the planning and logistics of Kickstart (we run these every 2 months)
  • Own project management and production for our bi-weekly all-hands field call

About You:

  • You are an ambitious leader. You don’t look for someone else to provide templates. You make the templates for others to follow
  • You are highly organized.  You thrive on flawless execution and detailed follow-throw
  • You can come up to speed rapidly on new concepts and are comfortable with a high degree of ambiguity
  • You have strong empathy. You can put yourself in the shoes of others to understand their experiences and how they receive information
  • You love seeing direct, tangible, and human impact of your work
  • You have a history of teaching, tutoring or coaching others

About Our Benefits:

  • Pre-IPO equity
  • Competitive medical, dental, and vision insurance for you and your family
  • 401(k) and pre-tax health care, dependent care and commuter benefits (FSA)
  • “No policy” vacation policy
