About the Position:

The Regional Vice President of Services, EMEA will be the go-to business leader accountable for all aspects of professional services, including services sales, delivery, practice building and operations.  Reporting to the Vice President of Global Services and Partners, you must be truly passionate about getting your hands dirty driving transformational customer outcomes, building a high-performing services organization and developing a highly productive delivery partner network.  The successful candidate is a natural leader who loves service delivery, has a talent for nurturing customer relationships, and is comfortable engaging across all levels of the customer organization. In this role, you will be a key member of the EMEA leadership team, driving pro-active cross functional alignment and collaboration between sales, services, customer success, pre-sales, support and product in service to our regional customers and partners.  If you are a world class entrepreneurial leader, this is a game changing opportunity at one of the fastest growing companies in the history of subscription software.

Position Deliverables:

  • Establish yourself as a thought leader and evangelist both internally and externally to properly articulate the value proposition of our professional services team as it relates to MuleSoft’s outcome-based sales approach and delivery model
  • Own the professional services team P&L for EMEA, achieving quarterly services bookings quota, CSAT, utilization, billability and margin targets for the region while optimizing bench time towards strategic initiatives and professional skills development
  • Be accountable for successful delivery of engagements by advising team members and leading by example when needed
  • Build long lasting executive relationships with customers and proactively manage customer satisfaction, escalations and overruns
  • Harvest lessons learned and ensure that best practices are documented and shared within and beyond the team while also contributing to methodology and other areas of the practice
  • Plan and meet aggressive recruiting goals while maintaining the high MuleSoft bar for new hires
  • As a key member of the Global Services Leadership team, provide input and improvement suggestions into the strategic development and direction of the Services team
  • Drive and cultivate innovation, articulating a compelling long-term vision for the future of EMEA services, inspiring others and compelling them to action
  • Take a lead role in onboarding, developing and continuous coaching of other team members

About You:

  • A strategic business leader that understands the importance of leading by example and being a player and coach
  • High-energy achiever with a track record of exceeding targets and running high performance teams
  • An experienced professional services leader and a subject matter expert in managing a practice and P&L across multiple regions
  • Strong consulting background in a top tier system integrator firm or high-growth enterprise software vendor
  • Embodies operational excellence driving the services P&L, key KPIs, and commercial contracts
  • Proven ability to gain trust across internal functional leaders
  • Proven ability in driving complex solution sales cycles from start to finish with a demonstrable track record of successful bookings
  • Has foresight to anticipate potential growing pains and the wisdom to build your own vision for what this role should evolve into as MuleSoft experiences explosive growth
  • Excellent people skills - a challenger adept at negotiation, consulting and facilitation with a keen awareness of the cultural differences across the region
  • Must be eligible to work and travel across EMEA without the need for sponsorship
