Product Marketing Manager

MuleSoft is looking for a business leader to join our Product Marketing team. Product Marketing plays a strategic role within MuleSoft, responsible for defining go-to-market strategy and driving execution. The ideal candidate is a strategist who understands marketing technology and can work cross-functionally to drive rapid revenue growth for MuleSoft’s Anypoint Platform.

You will develop go-to-market strategies, create messaging and positioning, enable direct and indirect selling teams, coordinate product launches, and work cross-functionally to drive market awareness. You will discover and document value drivers, explicitly measure those drivers with customers and tell inspiring customer stories. You will work with Product Management, Sales, Services, Solutions Consultants, and the Executive team to help prioritize market needs, product roadmaps, and investment to achieve and exceed business goals.

What you’ll achieve:

30 days:

  • Develop a deep understanding of MuleSoft’s Anypoint Platform and its value propositions
  • Learn integration challenges and common architecture patterns
  • Attend Kickstart, MuleSoft’s week-long onboarding program for new Muleys in the field organization

60 days:

  • Develop a deep understanding of MuleSoft’s Anypoint Platform and its value propositions
  • Learn integration challenges and common architecture patterns

90 days:

  • Present technical platform unique value propositions to be integrated into level-1 messaging
  • Enable the internal technical field to understand and adopt the messaging
  • Develop supporting materials, including presentations, videos, FAQ, etc.

What you’ll need to be successful:

  • A technical background with an MBA degree (preferred)
  • Ability to engage with and influence technical audiences (admins, developers, architects)
  • Knowledge and interest in technology with the ability to clearly articulate, message, and present product differentiation that aligns with the overall platform messaging
  • Proven success working with global teams on multiple projects and programs
  • Exceptional presentation and written skills required
  • Willingness to operate at both highly-strategic and tactical levels a must
  • Experience with integration and API management platforms, a plus (e.g. IBM, TIBCO, Informatica, Apigee, Dell Boomi, etc.) is a plus
