Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant, Channels

About the Position:

The Global Channels Solutions Consulting team is seeking a Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant, Channels who can drive growth through API-led connectivity across the North America Partner business. Doing so requires a laser focus on collaborating with MuleSoft Partners to deliver game-changing connectivity-driven solutions to their customers.

As the Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant, Channels you will guide our strategic Partner Technologists, CTOs, Engineers and Consultants through MuleSoft Point of View. You will collaborate with brilliant minds from our strategic Partners to ideate, build and take joint solution capabilities to market, while also working cross functionally with Product, CTO and Engineering within MuleSoft to drive new innovations and platform functionality. You will create and execute the top notch products for MuleSoft Partner Technical and Architectural enablement, executing Architectural Workshops/Engagements and PoCs with our Partners.

Position Deliverables:

30 days:

  • Learn MuleSoft Anypoint Platform in your first two weeks
  • Get your hands dirty by building your first MuleSoft Partner enablement product using Anypoint platform
  • Engage with Partner Managers and meet our strategic Partners and understand MuleSoft Partner business

60 days:

  • Go through the existing Strategic Partner joint solution capabilities and develop a point of view on the approach, process, deliverables and seed assets
  • Fly solo and execute your first Partner engagement (e.g. Technical or Architectural presentation/Workshop)
  • Deliver the first Partner Technical Enablement/Workshop to a strategic Partner

90 days:

  • Engage and collaborate cross functionally with MuleSoft Products, CTO and Engineering and drive one unique platform innovation
  • Scale and deliver the Partner Technical Enablement/Workshops to the Partners in your region
  • Build 1:1 relationships with Key Partner technologists and leaders in your territory

Other key deliverables include creating and delivering high impact Technical, Architectural and business-facing presentations, responding quickly to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs, represent MuleSoft and our joint capabilities with our strategic partners at Industry and Tech conferences, and help partners create joint solutions and MVP across industry verticals (retail, banking, healthcare, public sector, etc).

About You:

  • Passion towards Partners business and Pre-Sales Solutions Consulting
  • Middleware and Connectivity background
  • Channels, Partners and ISV background
  • Experience in guiding a Customer/Partner through a technical point of view
  • Engineered and executed Enterprise Pre-Sales Cycles (Sales Engineering/Solution Consulting/Sales Consulting)
  • Demonstrated ability to grasp and learn new business models and technology paradigms
  • Deep interest in Enterprise software, cloud, and APIs
  • Experience with one or more of the following:
    • Integration
    • API Management
    • PaaS and IaaS
    • Ability to debug and code when needed
    • Understanding of ERP, CRM, HCM and related Application Software domain
