Partner Enablement Manager

About the Team:

The EMEA Partner Team is seeking a Partner Enablement Manager who can drive enablement of the MuleSoft Partners across the EMEA regional business, increasing the depth of skills and the number of certified consultants. Doing so requires a tight collaboration with EMEA field and partner leadership, and engagement with the world's top system integrators to build and grow their MuleSoft Capacity. 

This includes:

  • Engagement with senior management within each MuleSoft Partner
  • Assessing partner capacity across business development, technical and delivery domains and maintaining records of accurate status
  • Increasing partner sales, solutioning and delivery capacity and competence through construction and measurement of enablement plans in collaboration with partner and MuleSoft partner management 
  • Driving incremental demand through execution of business development partner workshops 
  • Mentoring and assisting partners on Pre-Sales engagements through post-sale success planning, working closely with partner account managers, MuleSoft sale, services and customer success
  • Working with the MuleSoft and partner leadership to build the EMEA region 
  • Building 1:1 relationships with the technical and practice enablement executives within the EMEA Partner community

About the Position:

  • Enable MuleSoft partners by delivering business level partner certifications, workshops and applied learning
  • Guide our strategic Partner Architects, practice leaders and consultants through the MuleSoft Point of View
  • Create joint partner enablement plans in collaboration with partner counterparts
  • Engage regularly with key partners to monitor enablement process, new requirements and future goals
  • Provide regular updates to partner management on the status of each partner's enablement 
  • Respond to concerns from customers when partners fail to deliver to the expectation of customers when implementing MuleSoft
  • Represent MuleSoft and our joint capabilities with our strategic partners at industry and tech conferences
  • Work closely with internal cross-functional stakeholders in sales enablement, global partner enablement, services and customer success to align on messaging, methodology, MuleSoft best practices and sales to service partner engagement models

Position Deliverables:

30 days:

  • Learn MuleSoft Anypoint Platform messaging in your first two weeks
  • Review and understand the EMEA Partner Strategy and Plan including partner tiering at the sub-region level and overall enablement priorities for the region
  • Get your hands dirty by building meeting with a few MuleSoft partners to assess their current capability and requirements
  • Define the metrics and tracking systems for measuring partner capability 

60 days:

  • Meet our EMEA Partners and understand MuleSoft Partner business
  • Shadow MuleSoft partner managers to present customer/partner facing presentations
  • Fly solo and execute your first Partner assessment + enablement process
  • Partner with the partner manager and partner leadership to launch the regional enablement plan

90 days:

  • Execute Regional Enablement plan
  • Report regularly on status, performance against KPIs and upcoming requirements

About You:

  • Passion towards partners and solutions consulting/sales engineering
  • Background in partner business with a system integrator (SI) or a product company
  • A technical background
  • Engineered and executed enterprise pre-sales cycles (e.g., sales engineering/solution consulting/sales consulting)
  • Demonstrated ability to grasp and learn new business models and technology paradigms
  • Experience with one or more of the following:
    • Enterprise Architecture
    • SaaS Integration
    • API Management
    • PaaS and IaaS
  • Understanding of ERP, CRM, HCM and related application software domains
