Marketing Manager, DACH & NCE

 About The Position:

MuleSoft is looking for a well-rounded, hard worker with a "can-do" attitude, who is not afraid to get their hands dirty. In this role, you will report to the EMEA Head of Marketing and work closely with the extended Marketing team as well as DACH & NCE Sales, Channels, and Customer Success teams to plan and execute a wide range of marketing programs and initiatives to ultimately generate and drive pipeline. This position is perfect for the ambitious marketer who is looking to challenge oneself and work on full-funnel integrated campaigns across all channels, account-based marketing, inbound and outbound digital activities, demand generation, events, and content creation.

As a key member of the growing EMEA Marketing Team, your responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with the entire DACH & NCE team to drive regional growth
  • Work within the Marketing teams to integrate regional programs into go-to-market campaigns
  • Execute programmes from planning through delivery to achieve marketing qualified lead goals for both net-new and add-on business
  • Manage all program activities including strategy, budget, planning, execution, analysis, and optimization

Position Deliverables:

30 days:

  • Develop a complete understanding of the organization
  • Develop a complete understanding of our business model
  • Develop a complete understanding of the Marketing motions globally, focus on EMEA and DACH
  • Develop a complete understanding of the Marketing resource we have
  • Become fully versed in MuleSoft SFDC and Marketo

60 days:

  • Master our internal processes with little supervision including expenses, budget, planning, and reporting
  • Develop a complete understanding of our core positioning and messages (Kick­Start)
  • Develop a complete understanding of our existing customer base
  • Develop a complete understanding of our existing partner eco­system
  • Start to run campaigns in Marketo
  • Start formulating your plan for Q2 and H2

90 days:

  • Start planning and executing independently campaigns and activities, including delivering a couple of milestone projects
  • Have your next 3-6 months of plans locked and loaded
  • Establish your own ‘personal’ brand and cadence

About You:

  • Native German speaker or full professional proficiency with outstanding command of English
  • Experience in B2B marketing at tech/software company
  • Demonstrated success in supporting field, inside and channel sales teams as well as partner eco-system in a fast pace environment
  • Experience with programs directed at both IT and business audiences
  • Proven ability to build and execute demand generation campaigns with a marketing automation platform, Marketo + SFDC is preferred
  • Understands how to use email, website and social media in an overall demand creation approach
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to work with multiple teams and represent the company in a positive, professional manner
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills: lead cross-functional virtual teams to deliver programs, manage multiple projects simultaneously, work on tight deadlines and keep all programs on schedule
  • Experience managing projects to a fixed budget and proven ROI with third-party vendors and contractors
  • Demonstrated success in driving innovation and operational excellence


  • Second European language
  • Experience with SFDC
  • Experience with Marketo or similar automation tooling
  • Degree in Marketing or Communications or equivalent experience
