Marketing Associate

MuleSoft is looking to expand our APAC Marketing team with a well-rounded, hard worker with a "can-do" attitude. This role will look for energy and creativity to be a resourceful and successful part of this Sydney-based team. In this role, you will report to the APAC Marketing Director, function and work closely with the APAC Sales, Channels, and Customer Success teams to design and execute a wide range of marketing programs to ultimately drive pipeline. This position is perfect for the ambitious marketer who is looking to challenge oneself and work on integrated campaigns, including demand generation, events, and content creation. 

Goals for your first three months:

30 days:

  • Develop a complete understanding of the organization, our business model and the Marketing resource we have
  • Develop a complete understanding of the Marketing motions globally, focusing on APAC
  • Become fully versed in MuleSoft SFDC and Marketo

60 days:

  • Master our internal processes with little supervision including expenses, budget, planning, and reporting
  • Develop a complete understanding of our core positioning and messages (Kick­Start), our existing customer base, and our existing partner eco­system (VAR, SI, GSI)
  • Start to run campaigns in Marketo
  • Start formulating your plan for next quarter

90 days:

  • Start independently executing campaigns and activities, including delivering a couple of milestone projects
  • Have your next 3-6 months of plans locked and loaded
  • Establish your own ‘personal’ brand and cadence

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Professional experience in a fast-paced marketing environment
  • Hands on experience running demand generation campaigns and events
  • Experience managing projects to a fixed budget and proven ROI
  • Experience managing third-party vendors and contractors
  • Excellent Microsoft PowerPoint (and Office overall) skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ability to manage budget spreadsheets
  • Experience with SFDC (desirable)
  • Experience with Marketo or similar automation tooling (desirable)
  • Degree in Marketing or Communications, or equivalent experience (desirable)
