Human Resources Business Partner

Are you looking to join a team that is building a world class employee experience? MuleSoft is looking to expand their People Operations team, and are looking for a dynamic HR Business Partner. In this role, you’ll be partnering with functional leaders on their people management and be building people ops programs to support our rapidly growing company. 

About the Position:

In this position, you will partner with senior business leaders across the globe to ensure their strategic goals have the people power in place to make them a reality. Coach all levels of managers as they work through the various scenarios that come up when managing people in a dynamic organization. Actively participate in functional leadership meetings to understand both business and talent needs and how they intersect. Collaborate with the people ops team in the design and implementation of a variety of people programs that give managers and employees leverage in executing effectively against their objectives.

Position Deliverables:

30 Days:

  • Gain an understanding of how we operate, and what the roadmap looks like for the business
  • Meet the key business leaders in the US and begin to build relationships with the leadership teams in sales, engineering, product, marketing, etc.
  • Identify opportunities to partner with the business that further support the key objectives of people operations for 2016

60 Days:

  • Serve as a change agent in the support the business as people operations introduces quarterly check-ins
  • Assist in the development of key content for manager trainings and development series
  • Collaborate with the People Operations team to rework the promotion process and career mapping for organization
  • Partner with the Sr. Director of People Operations in the delivery of a global employee engagement survey
  • Continue to ingratiate yourself within the business, establish yourself as a trusted advisor

90+ Days:

  • Partner with the Senior Director of People Operations to execute key objectives that are on the roadmap
  • Continue to support the business in the roll-out of quarterly check-ins
  • Identify opportunities for impact (both small and large) from a people perspective

About You:

  • You have 5+ years working as an HR business partner or equivalent in a rapidly growing technology environment
  • You have enough business acumen to give you the credibility you need to coach leaders far more experienced than you
  • You are a creative problem solver that doesn’t rely simply on “best practices” or the standard HR playbook
  • You think about the tradeoffs between risk tolerance and common sense
  • You use analysis, empathy and good judgement to approach business and people problems
  • You are an amazing communicator and an effective influencer. People trust you and they follow you
  • You are both analytically driven in your decision making and empathetic to the impact your decisions have on real people
