Field & Events Marketing Manager, EMEA

MuleSoft is looking for a well-rounded, detail-driven marketer with a “can do” attitude who's not afraid to get their hands dirty. As the Marketing Manager, you will lead flagship programs across EMEA, including our high-profile bi-annual events program and local Developer Relations. You will also work closely with the Sales, Channels and Customer Success teams to design and execute cross-vertical regional marketing programs to ultimately drive pipeline.

As a key member of the growing EMEA Marketing team, your responsibilities include:

  • Collaborate with the entire field team to drive flagship marketing programs
  • Work within the global marketing function to integrate global best practice into regional campaigns
  • Execute programs from planning through delivery to achieve marketing qualified lead goals for both net-new and add-on business
  • Manage all program activities including strategy, budget, planning, execution, analysis and optimization

Goals for your first three months:

30 days:

  • Understand upcoming deliverables and milestones
  • Develop a complete understanding of the organization, business model, marketing motions and resources
  • Become fully versed in MuleSoft SFDC and Marketo

60 days:

  • Start independently executing campaigns and activities, including delivering your first milestone projects
  • Master our internal processes with little supervision, including expenses, budget, planning and reporting
  • Develop a complete understanding of our core positioning and messages (Kick­Start), existing customer base and existing partner eco­system (VAR, SI, GSI)
  • Start to run campaigns in Marketo
  • Start formulating your plan for 2018

90 days:

  • Deliver your first programs end-to-end successfully
  • Have your next 3-6 months of plans locked and loaded
  • Establish your own ‘personal’ brand and cadence

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Professional experience in a fast-paced marketing environment
  • Hands-on experience running events and demand generation campaigns
  • Experience managing projects to a fixed budget and proven ROI
  • Experience managing third-party vendors and contractors
  • Excellent Microsoft PowerPoint skills
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Excel and ability to manage budget spreadsheets
  • Second European language
  • Experience with SFDC
  • Experience with Marketo or similar automation tooling
  • Degree in Marketing or Communications or equivalent experience
